The edison horns [EH] 0.01 are the first iteration in a series of performing audio sculptures. The goal of the project was to create a pair of stereo speakers that accomplished two things. The first being an elegant repurposing of an obsoleted technology. And the second, to create a pair of speakers that brought you incredibly close to the singer. The Edsion Horns are perfect for this. The shape of the horn makes for a very directive sound, and careful positioning creates an extremely personal experience between a sole listener, and the recorded vocalist.

-Dayton Audio XO2W-2K 2-Way Speaker Crossover 2,000 Hz
With a crossover set at 2,000 Hz, the mid-high vocal range is played exclusively through the edison horns, while the mid-bass frequency band is handled by the in-wall mounted Dayton Audio drivers.
